Lee, SCALPED! *.*

He's in Australia right now, which is where he can listen to it, I assume?

A snippet is on iTunes, just change the country to Australia. Production wise it reminds me of Shed A Light in the buildup and chorus with the orchestral violins. The verse has a bit of organ house too.

Better than Alone No More imo, but nowhere near as good as Trippin on You.

Trying to go for that Clean Bandit type sound clearly.

The buildup and chorus are more Shed A Light type production than like Clean Bandit to my ears, but I suppose the mournful sounding violins in the verses are very Clean Bandit.

This is what I was thinking.

I actually really like the track! I would like to see it go top 20, hopefully it could happen with the Voice performance.

This is incredible :o Really hope Pixie can at least get top 100 with this!

#1422 on iTunes, just #1421 places to go *.*

I am more a fan of a funkier more disco violin sound in dance rather than the Shed A Light/this song type but any strings in a dance song are good imo, certainly more interesting with the strings than if it was just piano house. And with this, Shed A Light, Cloudbusting and Symphony we are seeing a revival of strings in house music, it does remind me of when violins became common in chart dance music for two years or so following a trend started by Lola's Theme in mid 2004.

A very welcome trend imo, hopefully it continues and I do appreciate how Clean Bandit have made strings in dance popular again.

Yes! More violins in dance music please

The Lola's Theme sparked violin dance trend was such a defining sound of the mid 00s! Even Dannii Minogue joined in with her track 'Perfection'.

Good to see violins coming back in dance, although they don't sound as funky though in this and more orchestral, like in Shed A Light.

Thanks for some great feedback and comments on here guys. Much appreciated. Some not so good lol

Been on this forum as a guest for years. Always a great source for new music.

The strings inspiration came from Bob Sinclar "Someone Who Needs Me" although Clean Bandit probably subliminally Inspired me too !
