Posted April 3, 20178 yr New US Box Office estimates have arrived 1 The Boss Baby ($49M) 2 Beauty and the Beast ($47.5M) 3 Ghost in the Shell ($19M) 4 Power Rangers ($14.5M) 5 Kong ($8.8M) Decent numbers for The Boss Baby, wasn't expecting it to dethrone BatB going into the weekend. That's a big drop (-64%) for Power Rangers though which is a shame, it's only up to $97M worldwide now too :( EDIT: Also, if anyone is interested, here is the current top 5 worldwide box office for 2017: 1 Beauty and the Beast ($876) 2 Logan ($585M) 3 Kong ($477M) 4 Fifty Shades Darker ($379M) 5 xXx: The Return of Xander Cage ($346M) BatB well it on its way to joining the billion dollar club!!
April 3, 20178 yr Might not be news. But a movie schedule for Disney's films: http://www.digitalspy.com/movies/feature/a...-action-remake/
April 7, 20178 yr Author The Oscars have announced that the voting for animated feature category is now going to be open to all voting members of the Academy. Previously the nominees were chosen by the animated block then the final voting was open to all blocks but the change will mean that any Academy member can vote to decide the nominees. I imagine this means foreign films like The Red Turtle and My Life As a Zucchini are less likely to make the cut and we're more likely to see Despicable Me 3, Cars 3 and The Boss Baby as nominees this year
April 8, 20178 yr Going In Style had a higher opening day than The Smurfs in America :o Whilst it will change order for the weekend, the smurfs really is flopping horrendously! Also Ghost In The Shell is completely collapsing also!
