I was always worried she wouldn't deliver or be more bland on her second album, but so glad to see she's brought it. I enjoy it all except 'Cool Girl' and 'Don't Talk About It' (mainly because that sort of sound grates on me).

Literally my two favourite songs on first listen :kink: Oops.

I'll do a rate a bit later but the standouts for me are Lady Wood, True Disaster and Cool Girl!

A little disappointed by the album. The hooks aren't as big as QOTC and the overall sonic landscape of the record is very samey and frankly a bit drab. The production sounds expensive but not many of the songs really pop.

 

Influence, Cool Girl, True Disaster and Keep It Simple are all excellent though.

Tove Lo - Fairy Dust (the film)

 

Tove Lo made a 31 minute long film for the album. It is very good and looks INCREDIBLY expensive.

 

Sad thing though, YouTube removed it for containing nudity and sexual themes, so it was only up for 30mins

8/10 songs on this album feature the word "fuck". Awesome.
