Decent year for BP nominees for me, the top two are excellent and I liked the next two a fair bit too. SLP is a great film and it's hard to love it the more you see it, must have seen it 3/4 times now. Les Mis is a close second though, perhaps a little long to rewatch as often but it has some great songs and scenes that I love revisiting, full of excellent classic characters too. I loved how intense both Argo & ZD30 were at times but the former was certainly more enjoyable and fun so I'd have to rank that just higher. The bottom two were far too dull for my liking but at least BOTSW was about an hour shorter

In terms of snubs there were some other great or enjoyable films nominated in other categories, namely The Impossible, Hitchcock & The Avengers for me. The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel really should've gotten a couple noms too imo, at least it got Golden Globe recognition in some major categories

As we go further back through the years, I've seen less movies. I didn't enjoy Silver Linings Playbook for the most part and I fell asleep during Les Mis, at the time I think a sung-through musical with that running length was too much  So out of the three I've seen, Life of Pi is an easy choice for me, what a stunning, beautiful to look at movie.
