So what does the Buzzjack community think about Avril Lavigne's make-over and career change (into acting, as well as a new album too)?

 

She's now apparently quit drinking, smoking cigarettes and feels more like a woman. I hope it reflects on her new musical style too, because she could be so much more than just a punk-rock-pop singer. I think she'll be a classier version of Pink.

Not much difference really. She still comes off as a moody b**ch in DIRE need of a stylist (at least she got the wedding dress right).

She's wearing Prada, dresses and diamond glasses. There's a major difference.

Oh gosh I love her style now <3.

That isn't a new track it's called Who Knows and it's on her second album Under My Skin.

 

As for her style, I like both. She was very appealing to the younger market (when she was younger) and I personally liked it as a relatively young person. Whoever I think like most people, she has matured and looks more classy these days.

Now, she looks alot better with blonde hair, she is stunning!

Never really liked her much, her musics ok just not my thing......but she doesn't seem like a very nice person from what ive heard :unsure:

She's definately more scrubbed up and more beautiful these days :wub: I just hope it doesn't rub off in her music :lol: Part of the reason I adore her is because of her angst ridden songs <3

Now, even if she does look a little too much like Paris Hilton for my liking...

I don't like her blonde but she looks better than before...

And no one looks like that in real life! Come on!!!

Next year. I think it was original scheduled for this year, but she's staring in Fast Food Nation, so it would have conflicted with the film's promotion.

I think she looks much better now, just because she looks like that doesn't really mean she's going to go all girly, she can still do the same type of music as before but not about break-ups and teen angst.

I much prefure the way she looks now. Her old image was just so cliche. I could just imagine a bunch of old men at a board meeting going "how do we make the anti britney? we will get all of her clothes from hot topic and other "alternative stores" people dress like that - but avril didn't seem genuine about it. She just wanting to get the point accross that she was different.
