So apparently the versions of the album for each of the guys has a different set of songs on it...correct? Bizarre move for an album but there we go! They're performing on Sunday Brunch this weekend on Channel 4...

This comes out tomorrow then. Really love 'Middle of the Night' still but am undecided as to whether to invest in the album or not. I might put it on my birthday list for next month.
Wait this album is only 25 minutes long? Can this even be classed an album?

That's the standard 8 tracks, but there are a further 8 bonus tracks across the slipcase editions (Brad's two bonus tracks being included in the iTunes deluxe too) so yeah it's most definitely an album. Plus it's only part 1, part 2 is later this year!

It's a good album, although I wish the three songs we already know weren't the first three tracks and were spread out instead! Plus it is pretty short, while Wake Up felt too long to me. Hopefully the remaining bonus tracks (I've not heard the James/Connor/Tristan tracks) will stop that feeling of being too short.

Do we know the titles of the other 6 bonus songs?

Not yet! Hopefully we'll know tomorrow when people receive their copies (if not, I can't help as I have to wait til Wednesday to collect mine )

They're performing on The Voice Kids final on Saturday as well so nice promo lined up.

Middle of the Night has a new impact date in the middle of August so I guess there may still be a (very small) chance of it happening?

It does feel like a very baffling point for Radio 1 to drop their support anyway :drama:

Just re-listened to Middle Of The Night as I'd forgotten what it sounded like, and whilst not offering anything too unique I'd still like to see it in the Top 40, so knowing it still has a future impact date is something I guess. It will also depend if Martin Jensen has another single out by then too.

Question, are The Vamps the only mainstream boy band left right now!? :o

Pretty much. In many ways they're in the exact same position McFly were in 10 years ago. Last boyband standing, medium sized but loyal fanbase. Hopefully with the old ACR rule in place and the promo they've got lined up this week 'Middle of the Night' can go top 40 for a bit.

The boyband market is wide open for a new group to step in and receive big demand. The Vamps if they got the big break they could fill the void. All Night did extremely well for them, on track for their biggest selling single but they need a huge smash and i don't think it will happen for them. The last album sold poorly so it will be interesting to see if the new album can increase on the sales of its previous.
Listening now and apart from the singles I'm not overly impressed... Shades On is fairly decent though but that's more down to Will Simms' production

Great performance on The One Show on Friday night:

Will be interesting to see how this gets on this week with all the different versions available!

The different versions are certainly helping as its clearly going to be this weeks number 1 album. Sales over 24,000 at this point. I do fear the multiple release will be a one week only benefit and the album will fall rapidly next week and thereafter.
The album is quite good overall, if perhaps a little patchy in the middle. Sad Song is a bit of a Starving rip-off though
