The Gifted follows a family who are forced to go on the run after they discover their children possess mutant powers.

The Bryan Singer-directed series' first season was recently given the green light by Fox, and is set to be closely tied to the X-Men mythology, so fans can expect both new and familiar faces.

The series will star Stephen Moyer (True Blood), Amy Acker (Angel), Sean Teale (Skins), Jamie Chung (Once Upon A Time, Gotham), Coby Bell (Burn Notice, The Game), Emma Dumont (Aquarius, Bunheads), Blair Redford (Satisfaction, The Lying Game), Natalie Alyn Lind (The Goldbergs, Gotham) and Percy Hynes White (Between).

Jamie Chung has been confirmed to be portraying Blink / Clarice Fong, who last appeared in X-Men: Days of Future Past played by Fan Bingbing.

Sean Teale will be portraying Eclipse / Marcos Diaz

Emma Dumont will be portraying Polaris / Lorna Dane

Blair Redford will be portraying Thunderbird / John Proudstar

Stan Lee, continuing his cameo appearances, will appear in the Pilot episode.

So this has now started. Haven't watched it yet but FOX here in the UK are premiering it on Sunday so will probably watch it then
This looks very promising after just one episode, I was gripped from the start, and the action just kept on going throughout the episode. This series has really got potential, let's hope the pace stays the same, as I enjoyed the first episode, I'm sticking with it. Probably the best debut TV series this season.
