BJSC presenterar Schlagerfest is a celebration of all things Scandipop and the more Schlagertastic the better! Thundering choruses, nonsensical lyrics, epic key changes that defy the laws of physics and a dance routine Louis Spence would think is 'too camp'.

 

Some examples of this exquisite genre, featuring such masterful lyrics as "Love can be hard some times, yes it can catch you off guard like bad crimes", for your inspiration: (all ineligible for Schalgerfest. Tho what a f***ing contest it'd be to have this lot fighting it out)

Your entry with this contest needs to follow just 5 rules, compared to the usual Buzzjack standards.

 

- It may not have appeared in BJSC before - don't be lazy

- It may not have appeared in the Eurovision Song Contest - don't be lazy and cheap

- It may not have appeared in a National Final for the Eurovision Song Contest - see above Ryan. (The artist may be a NF reject so yes John you can enter Perrelli, the song however cannot have be involved in the NF. Songs that are suspected to have been entered to MF but were dismissed by Christer and didn't make the final 32 28 are fine)

- It must be Nordic in Origin - That's the holy trinity (Denmark, Norway & Sweden) plus Finland and Iceland.

- It must be Scanipop. Not Scandidance. Not Scandindie. Scandipop. If there isn't 3 key changes and a glitter bomb it's not Scandipop.

There's one song I know would smash this if (more like when) it's entered :lol: Tbh mine is another "could've smashed BJSC but never did", but the artist isn't cheap and I'm not sure too many will know it anyway.
