Perhaps a little unsurprising given she is his support act on the summer tour that starts in two weeks, but Olly has just confirmed Louisa is guest vocalist on a brand new mix of "Unpredictable", the 4th single from "24 HRS". It's out on June 2nd!

Woah. I thought he was done with this era, so great news!

Yet another grasp at relevance for Lousia

Not that there's anything wrong with her, I actually really like her music, It's just a tad funny how things have gone for her lately

I don't think collabing with Olly is a "grasp at relevance" considering how poorly he's also done this era

A 4th #1 album that's now gone platinum and a gold selling top 20 hit in "You Don't Know Love" say hello to you...

Olly definitely has underperformed this era.

I love Louisa is featuring everywhere exactly what's needed to keep building her profile with different audiences regardless if they are flops or not.

Olly's had a less successful era than he's used to but he's still a big name in pop music I'd say. I expect this will get a BGT performance?

Olly's most recent album has not done as strong as previous albums, but it was a number 1 with sales to my knowledge approaching 400,000. While his success has reduced he is still doing reasonably well with 5 albums into his career.

As a fan myself, i did enjoy his most recent era as much as i have done with others. Olly appears to be in a transition period where is searching for a new sound. Personally, i thinkhe should stay with what he is known for as no one else was releasing the same style of music.

It will be interesting how the duet performs, with both signed to Syco, i would believe a BGT performance is a guarantee. It is likely this is Olly preparing for a re-release of the album. Syco really appear to be working hard to try and get Louisa established but i have doubts it will ever happen.

Olly Murs is going all Little Mix re-release-ish with his 4th album single, it's a collab with Louisa (as you've probably seen from his album thread) and it's called Unpredictable.

You can hear the original wherever now but this re-release is released on the 2nd June . Rather excited.

There is literally a thread 2 threads down from this... Merging now.
There's literally a topic for this not even halfway down the page....

Olly has confirmed on his Instagram story just now that he and Louisa are pre-recording a performance of this for 'Tonight at the London Palladium' this evening - air date yet TBC. I'd imagine a performance on Britain's Got Talent live shows will be a given!

And his past eras chuckle at the above statement

I ain't having a dig, I'm just pointing out a fact - he's struggled compared to his past eras ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I feel Olly is going to have a Robbie style career now with maybe 1 medium sized hit from his albums but manages to sell his albums well

It's funny really cause I said the exact same thing last year around the time 'You Don't Know Love' came out. Not on here but on another blog that was talking about Robbie. I think crucially what has always stood well in Olly's stead is that he is, as you've observed, always a really strong album and tour seller, and even if the singles only go top 20, 30 or 40 they're always huge airplay hits. 'You Don't Know Love' was number 1 at radio for five weeks last summer.

I don't know if it's still available for catchup but if anyone's got Sky+ I'd recommend watching his interview he did on John Bishop's chat show for W recently. Still so level headed and down to earth about his success.

Has he all but given up abroad now? He certainly saturated the market here following this album release with his tv appearances on everything going, and vast touring.

Not at all. He still has a big following in Germany and Australia. He did a lot of promo in Germany for the album right before Christmas as well as a VEVO Presents gig.
