A comment on their Facebook reminded me that there was supposed to be a companion album to Pagans In Vegas that was more stripped back, so perhaps it's evolved back into this. Embarrassingly as a huge Metric fan with all their albums I've never listened to Emily's solo stuff, need to make time soon.

 

Edit: Really like this track, also saw someone say on reddit that there's a new album "Choir Of The Mind" out September 15th.

I recently picked up the 'Knives Don't Have Your Back' CD in a charity shop - hadn't listened to it in a while.

 

Moderately high hopes for this but quite low expectations as the last two Metric albums haven't done anything for me.
