3 Matt Damon

4 Christopher Plummer

Waltz was a runaway winner really, one of the best supporting winners in recent years. Such an unsettling villain and I love how many languages he used in the film too, not something any actor could do convincingly. Tucci was another incredibly unsettling chracater and the film was much better when he was lurking about in the scenes, the most impressed I've been by him in a role yet. Damon and Plummer were decent but hardly breath-taking performances, Damon edges it for his decent South African accent for me.

Anthony Mackie would probably round out my top five for The Hurt Locker. I enjoyed Alfred Molina in An Education too.
