Posted July 4, 20177 yr Dexton's Top 20 (04/07/2017) (Week #8) Another week brings another chart, this week we see Clean Bandit & Marina and the Diamonds hold on to #1 for a second week, with the entire rest of the chart experiencing movement. Wild Thoughts climbs up to #2 followed closely by two new entries. The first of which is a Calvin Harris Funk Wav Bounces Vol.1 album track featuring Kehlani & Lil Yachty, the second of which is The Killers' The Man. Bakermat comes in at #5 this week dropping 3 positions from #2. Along with the two new entries in the Top 5, there are a total of 5 new entries in the chart this week: Little Mix's Power at #6; One Republic's Truth to Power at #13, and Calvin Harris' Feels at #19, his second appearance on the chart this week. Imagine Dragons are the biggest climbers this week with Thunder (Thunder...Thunder... ) up to #7 from #12. Liam Gallagher's Wall of Glass peaked at #3 a few weeks ago but has now fallen out of the chart. Unfortunately, the Oasis frontman isn't quite the same when he's not... you know... Oasis. Maybe when the infamous brothers rekindle their bromance we'll be blessed with an Oasis return (along with pigs that can fly and a female President of the United States). Calvin Harris makes his second and third appearance in my chart this week, surpassing the record of most total appearances that was previously held by Clean Bandit, DJ Khaled, Imagine Dragons, and Justin Bieber (although not on one single track, can you imagine that?). His album is full of awesome tracks, highlights for me not on this chart include Prayers Up, Slide, and Cash Out. I think Faking It would've been a better single choice than Rollin' (although I like Rollin' also) Truth To Power is much more "retro" One Republic to me than No Vacancy, and has stong meaning behind it. But I know what you mean, No Vacancy is still 100x better :lol: Wow Calvin's released at least 1 hit summer song every year since 2009...
