November 5, 200618 yr :funky: I know only just 20 minutes + or so have gone since my last post about 'Chick Fit,' but I like it now after a few more listens. :D Edited November 5, 200618 yr by TheOrdinaryArcticBoy
November 5, 200618 yr I've just listend to all of this, and its a bit hit and miss for me. There are some tracks that really stand out whilst there are some tracks that really don't. :( I think its one of those albums that grows on you loads the more you hear it though.
November 5, 200618 yr Oh I see - some are B-Sides? On & On starts off promising. Oooh I like. :kink: Do Me and Dope Noize are b-sides. ;)
November 5, 200618 yr Still ages to wait for the album!! :( I hate waiting for albums to be released lol ... waiting for a Christina album was pure hell  :P Love, Kirsty xx Edited November 5, 200618 yr by Miss Analyst
November 6, 200618 yr My opinion overall? WEAK and very repetitive and dull. The first 3 tracks are supreme but it rapidly goes downhill like a wreckage after that with only 'Too Nasty' & 'Fundamental' managing to pick it back up but even that's not to a great height. I guess I wasn't expecting much after never being a fan before - maybe it will grow if I give it a chance but not a good first impression.
November 6, 200618 yr Ill give my full review later but on first listen its boring, dull and a major dissapointment.
November 6, 200618 yr Short, very ametuar-ish opions of each track: Rock Steady - Amazing, great vocals..catchy. 10/10 Chick Fit - Wasn't at all keen at first but it's grown on me. Quirky verse vocals and cool chorus. lol. 8/10 On And On - Really nice song, mellower than the previous two. Chilled but funky at the same time. Love the chorus. 9/10 Scar - Didn't like at first but love after a day. Really like the bassline and the overall melody. Funny trumpets. 9/10 Not Eazy - Shaznay and Mel's vocals are lush, and love the harmonising in the verses and chorus. It's not an amazinly stand out track but it's still really good. 9/10 Hell No - The first song which i don't love. The looped laugh gets on me nerves a bit. But with lines like "Who's that b**ch i see climbing out your window, it's always gonna be funny. 7/10 One Me And You - One of my faves. Not stand out really, but i love the melody of the chorus. And nice to her Nat's vocals proerly in second voice for a change instead of Shaznay. 9/10 Headlock - Like the mix of piano and strong clunky beat. I think it's Nicole singing first verse  Hope so cuz she doesn't seem to sing alot, unless im getting the two sisters confoosed all the time. Not that amazing. 7/10 Too Nasty - Sort of goes over your head. Good beats and good to have on in the background i guess. 6/10 In It To Win It: Again not a stand out. I like Shaznay's shouty vocals on the bridges and the chorus isn't bad. 7/10 Flashback: Catchy i guess. The song is in the group that slumps the album for a bit. 6/10 Fundamental - Nice slowed down song in comparison. Shaznay's vocals are strong. Grower i think a bit. 8/10 Overall a good album with a couple of average songs. Vocals are excellent by all members, even though Shaznay is the obvious lead. Should be a long burner as the more ordinary songs could well grow.
November 6, 200618 yr Personally I love it :love Fundamental, Hell no are best :D :D And of course Rock Steady :love
