I love Omarion :D Ice Box is his best song, Post To Be went silver iirc?

I'm interested to see how much The Block Party by Left Eye has sold. Shame it's not more remembered :(

Think of poor, brave Victoria Beckham, whose dong Out of your Mind will be repleaced by the less successful, but still amazing, Not Such An... :(

Think there might be a slight typo there!

Unfortunately if it's a solo thread we also won't get 'Girl You Know It's True (K+S)'.

Anyway, I am old enough to just about remember Worlds Apart. But I was unaware that one of them had had a Number 54 hit solo.

By "features won't count" does this mean songs they are featured on, or songs where they feature someone else though?

Both

I wonder if Omarion's best seller is Ice Box or Post To Be, the latter charted really low top 100 but was a big trickle seller. Ice Box I believe went top 20 but is fairly forgotten now.

Also I had no clue he was in a boyband well you learn something new..

This is a quite intriguing list Gezza - I honestly have never heard of anything so far!

46. SEE NO MORE- JOE JONAS (11,600)

Joe-jonas-see-no-more.jpg

PEAK POSITION: 53

WKS ON CHART: 1

YEAR: 2011

The Jonas Brothers were never that big here with only one top 20 single to their credit, they went on hiatus in 2010 with Joe’s first solo single coming a year later. This was co-written by Chris Brown who also provides backing vocals so all in all you might be expecting more from this.

45.LOVE IS A DRUG- MARKUS FEHILY (14,700)

220px-Love_Is_a_Drug_Markus.jpg

CHART POSITION: 56

WKS ON CHART: 1

YEAR: 2015

Onto the first of three ex-Westlifers on the list, Feehily was to the group what Mel C was to the Spice Girls, the one who got all those difficult high notes to belt out! His position as the “gay one” in the boyband was assured when he came out in 2005 and started dating Kevin McDaid who was himself a former boybander in “V”. Debut single again disappointed though he’s fared better than either Kian or Nicky.

Please don't compare that Cowell-manufactured pop puppet cover-song kareoke band to thr Spices please!

44. OVERRATED- SIOBHAN DONAGHY (14,700)

CHART POSITION: 19

WKS ON CHART: 4

YEAR: 2003

Leaving the Sugababes under a cloud of acrimony and accusations of bullying, Donaghy launched herself as a soloist just 2 years later with this track. Having been dropped their label, then a split, then a diagnosis of depression Donaghy started writing as therapy, she had ample experience to write this track. It’s co-written by Cameron Mcvey, husband of Neneh Cherry and famed producer for All Saints and Massive Attack.

Even I forgot it! :(

Aww really? :( Do you happen to know how much it sold?

Whilst not a patch on her later material on Ghosts, 'Overrated' is easily the best thing so far.

Oh that was a nice song.

Siobhan was , an early Florence and the Machine before that sound was popular.

Pedantically speaking, 'Overrated' wasn't after being dropped - London Records kept her on and dropped the other two members (who eventually signed to Island). However, after the failure of the follow-up single and the album, they did drop her.

Mess, I just noticed that Tove Lo pretty much copied the concept of the "Overrated" video with "Habits".

An interesting thread but I've not heard of at least half of the acts featured here although that's probably because (so far in this countdown) all have had minor hits.

Loved Joe Jonas' solo album. It's worth a punt if you can track down a second hand copy. Glad he's found success with DNCE now.

Love Siobhan Donaghy too - 'Revolution in Me' such a brilliant underrated album.
