How strange...

This morning to iTunes the album has been added again, however this time it has the same front cover as the Dutch version has!

 

What on earth is going on!?

It just gets weirder by the day...:lol:

I really have no idea whats going on!!!

I mean it's weird enough Mercury have kept the album on iTunes, it's on the front page, most people are going to download it now, and over the next few months, which will effect the sales of the album I'm sure when released.

But to release two version, with the UK cover & the dutch cover (both with the UK tracklisting) makes no sense :S

I still only see the UK cover but then again I am a bit slow so I probably missed the Dutch one.

 

Apparently the thinking behind keeping the album on itunes is to prevent people from just shipping the album over from Holland apparently because if they do that there's less chance of them buying the UK cd.

Very odd although that cover is nicer than the UK one in my opinion.

i've just got a woolworths advert through the door and its got lu's album on it saying you can buy it now!

We got all the display cases in at woolworths. It does have the UK cover. Like I said, it was a real last minute decision.

 

I think Mercury should have released it and just re-promoted it next year!

My logical thinking behind it was people didnt buy the single because the album is supposed to be out now, we all know lucie is an album artist, not a single artist and i truly believe it would of gone top 8 this week.

I know..I reckon most people were just gonna wait until the album came out, that was why the single did so bad. I'm sure the album would have done really well...but I'll guess we'll just have to wait until March now to see!

I agree Sam - Lucie does better in the album charts than the single charts. Plus I think these 2 track cd singles don't encourage people to part with their money. For those, like us, who already know Lucie's music its a great bonus to have a b-side, but if your new to her music perhaps adding a couple of the well-known tracks from Breath In adds an incentive to buy.

 

Plus I have to say when there's just a new b-side involved I just download the new track from itunes. The CD single has to have the video or something more than just one track on it for me to buy the whole thing. Gotta save space in my house! :D

Seriously I agree, not being funny or anything but I really think the album would have got a good position this week. Judging by the itunes chart there is obviously interest and surely some people were holding out to buy the physical copy instead.

 

We all know Lucie is an album artist and I genuinely said all along I felt it would still have done good had it have been released this week.
