Five to Five - TBA

Five to Five - winners, you may remember, of 'Let it Shine' on BBC One at the start of the year that set out to find a boyband for 'The Band', a musical featuring the songs of Take That - have confirmed today their debut single is imminent. (BTW for all who ask, L-R in above pic: Curtis, Nick, AJ, Yazdan and Sario)

I speak probably as the only person who watched Let it Shine, but they were the obvious winners from the start when they were formed - nice lads, great vibe together when they performed. Equally, new boybands haven't exactly got off the ground in recent times - 5 After Midnight, Pretty Much, I am looking at you.

But looking at the reaction since 'The Band' musical opened in Manchester a week or so ago (to great reviews it has to be said), that there is the same buzz and building hysteria around this lot as Take That had back in the day. If they get the right sound behind them there's a chance we are looking at something quite big indeed here.
