Without being exceptionally bias given Jessica J doesn't get that much time of day on Buzzjack, Nicki fully saves Bang Bang which comes in at 20th in our singles rate. Jessie's parts are far from the highlight as Nicki just dominants quite rightly :kink: and is looking exceptional in the video - how was it released three years ago? It's interesting to see all the combinations of Ari and Nicki but this is probably one of the most known after Side To Side I'd bet and it is a pleasant listen to say the least. Haters - -1 (Cremey) 3n71KUiWn1I I always thought this was actually a bit hated here on Buzzjack so I was shocked at first that it even got this high. It was a bit higher on my personal countdown but this is a decent placing for a song that seems to be a bit marmite. Rih and Nicki have done two collars together and this is the only one that's really deserving of praise. I think most people expect a bit more from these two ladies coming together on a song but at least it's better than "Raining Men"...

Like you, I would have expected the former to be even lower but to be honest for a Nicki rate, these averages are very strong for the top 20! I'm expecting at least the top ten and maybe a couple of outsiders to score over 8.00!

It did get a few low scores as you can see but a surprising amount of high ones too so it has ended up doing pretty decently. This came top 10 in my personal countdown so I'm definitely on the love side of the spectrum. It's a complete banger and I'm not really sure what there is to dislike about it really? :o

Only Davidson gave big love to it (in hindsight, I'd have probably given it a 10 too) but not many haters either so it's scored a decent average here.
October 13, 20177 yr There's something about 'Right Thru Me' that really reels me in! I distinctly remember seeing the video for the first time on Starz TV and thinking it didn't really sound like a hit, but that it was a really nice song to chill to. Her vocals are so lush on it and I also really like the backing vocals on the chorus! I agree that it's underrated.

It's a cute little track and catchy enough but her previous pop smashes like Pound the Alarm and Starships are SOOOOO much more exciting in my opinion. I like this a fair bit but it wouldn't be anywhere this high in my own countdown (didn't even make my top 60 :lol:)
October 15, 20177 yr 'Right Thru Me' is wonderful and is in my top 5 Nicki songs, it is just so good. 'The Night Is Still Young' should not be anywhere near that high. It's her worst 'pop' song for me, even all the 'Roman Reloaded' pop album tracks are strong than it. Nicki at her most basic.

PARTYNEXTDOOR & Nicki Minaj Average - 7.68 Lovers - 11 (George.keh, burbe, Cameron) Haters - 3 (Cremey) // 5 (Liam, Sean, Jupiter) s616v2pSWDU This really isn't the sort of track that I was expecting to pick up multiple 11s or come this high either so I'm really rather shocked about that :o When it was first announced, there were loads of #1 chart debut predictions going around due to Major Lazer being hot off smash hits Lean On & Light It Up as well as Nicki being a huge star too but unfortunately, the track is a lot less exciting than those and the video took forever to come so it ended up being a minor hit. I'd have loved to hear Nicki on a proper banger like those tracks but this was nice enough and gave me my Nicki fix for a few months before I got a bit bored of it.

I never was the biggest fan of it when The Re-Up first came out but now it is one of my favourite Nicki tracks ever. It is one of the most perfect party tunes and my group of friends always used to play it at pre-drinks and we all knew the words. Just a bit of a bop really, glad it's done pretty well here. Nicki looks completely amazing in the video too *-*

I feel the same way! :lol: Such a simple chorus but the song always induces such a feeling of euphoria. I really like the slightly indistinguishable backing vocals she does on the chorus in particular (queen of layering more vox on top of others). It clicked with me so much on tour and I have loved it ever since. Surprised but happy to see it so close to top 15! 'High School' is fab as well. :wub:
