January 23, 20187 yr They're making a slight change to the voting this year, with the jury votes being true Eurovision style rather than just a top 7 as it has been. The number of televote points dished out will thus increase to 638 to keep it 50/50 and they hope this will be a shift in the direction of the public having a little more power.

I mean, good, the app always suggests casual voting to me and that's been a big factor in why the last few Melfests have felt both predictable and worse for quality. I'd personally put juries in the heats to try and get a shakeup so that the last song with a big name isn't ALWAYS going Direkt (Benjamin Ingrosso needs to start celebrating his overall 4th place with his inevitably awful song already).
