T?i o?í?ky pro Popelku (German: Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel, English: Three Nuts for Cinderella and Three Gifts for Cinderella) is a Czech-German fairy-tale film from 1973.

It was by directed by Václav Vorlí?ek in co-production between DEFA-Studio für Spielfilme and Barrandov Studios. The story was based on a fairy tale written by Bo?ena N?mcová (a Czech variation of the classic Cinderella fairytale). Main roles were played by Libu?e ?afránková and Pavel Trávní?ek. The film was shot at the DEFA studios in Babelsberg (Brandenburg), in the Barrandov studios in Prague, and various places in Bohemia in what was then Czechoslovakia, like the ?vihov castle in western Bohemia, and the Bohemian Forest, as well the Schloß Moritzburg in Saxony.

The film was released in a Czech and German version. Actors were both Czechs and Germans and they all spoke their native language. In the respective editions, they were dubbed to Czech or German. The film had its international première in Berlin in 1973.

The film has become, much like Dinner for One, a holiday classic in many European countries. It is shown on TV around Christmas time every year in the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Switzerland, and Norway.

:D

It's shown on Norwegian tv for the 18th time :D

The tv channel which airs it, got complain letters from both kids and adults the years they didn't air it. They were sad when they didn't get to see it. It's a lovely tradition, so BLAH to all of you
