I advise people about travelling, countries, find a suitable holiday. Make reservations for flights, hotels, book excursions etc.

U also have to do financial stuff (invoices and stuff), deal with complaints etc. Its very diverse. I've been doing it for 10 years now.

U work with people, speak english regularly. Only thing is that it doesn't pay very well. U really have to like it to do it.

 

Once a year you go on a trip with other travel agents to learn about that country and visit hotels.

Also u get discounts when u travel.

I have been doing that for a while, but my application for a secondary school has to be in by march 1st :wacko: haha. I'm trying really hard to find out what would be the best job for me, but I don't know yet. Maybe I will decide more after 3 years in secondary school.

I like it a lot.

 

U need to study for it. U can't just walk in and do the job. It's very demanding actually. U need to know a lot. But if u have an interest in travelling thats a great start.

I'm really interrested in learning more about other cultures and countries, and there's more languages I wanna learn, but I can't do them yet :lol:

I studied Tourism and specialised in becoming a travel agent.

It was 3 years and 2 times 5 months training in a real travel agency.

I also did this international course with KLM to be specialist in booking flights (IATA certified).
