Even though it's release is tomorrow, I put on my best smile and my Music Store and I got it! :o The 2CD version! It's AMAZING! Way better than BI, if that was even possible!

Here is my review:

Last Year

Great, mid-tempo ballad.. Amazing track to 'introduce' the album, very laid back. The more I listen to it, the more I love it! I think this, with the lovely video for it, can do well!

Sinking In

Oooh I've loved this track ever since I first heard it at the HMH gig. Catchy chorus, great lyrics, everyone can relate to it. Loving the guitar in this track.

The Same Side

People who know what it's about will agree with me that it's so personal and emotional. Even though I have to say I prefer the 'acoustic' version she performed at the first live shows, but this version is great aswell. It's more radio-friendly, I guess. Again, amazing lyrics, really relatable.

Trying Not To Lose

Another laid-back song, like Last Year. Great drumwork by Tom Meadows, very personal lyrics: 'If I could only wake up not feeling so confused, about what I want and what I'm trying not to lose', it's very easy listening, just a song to chill on :P

Something About You

One of my favourites of the album!! It's so catchy, and you'll get dragged into the song by listening to the first notes. It's about it being the wrong time for loving somebody, but that she can't help it. Really great, good lyrics, great melody.

Place To Hide

This song is relatable for everyone, I guess. It's about being there for someone, and I cried when I heard this song for the first time at the HMH gig. She dedicated it to her family that night, and that's just what it's about.. 'If you still find that you can't face the world outside.. let me be your place to hide'. It's a great ballad, just piano, guitar and vocals.

Right Here

We think that she wrote this song about Geordan :P It's about never letting go in a relationship, and that she and this other person are meant to be together. It's another laid-back track, soft drums, great guitarplay, good lyrics.

Counting

This song has got to be one of my favourites. It's so inspiring. It's about not letting the bad stuff get to you, and about calming yourself down.. 'Counting 1, 2, 3 and 4 - I won't let all these silly things bug me no more - counting 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 - I will calm myself down and be happy again'. Great ballad, loving the guitar in this song. Again, the lyrics are AMAZING.

Already Gone

Another amazing track, you can really hear the emotion in Lucie's voice in this song. The song is about breaking up with someone.. and when Lucie hits those high notes, you'll get the chills, no doubt about that.

Alone

The guitar intro is AMAZING! And when Lucie starts singing, the drums kick in and you just want to jump up and dance. Another great song with a catchy chorus.

Passionate You

This is one of my favourites of the album. The way the chorus kicks in with Lucie singing 'oooooohh passionate you' is just breathtaking. The lyrics are really sweet and it's just the way Lucie is: sweet and caring.

Everytime I Think Of You (ft Marco Borsato)

The thing that I love about this song is that Lucie owns the track. The notes are a bit too hight for Marco at some times, but Lucie rocks it. The song is a perfect choice, and I wasn't suprised to see it reach the #1 position.

Stolen (Hidden track)

The perfect song to close the album.. just piano and vocals.. really emotional. It's about being shattered after a break-up. It really shows what Lucie is all about: good vocals, great music and amazing lyrics. It's great.. I teared up listening to it.

------

The album is just simply AMAZING. Lucie has grown so much since Breathe In, this album is more mature and you can also hear how much she has grown vocally. Listening to these songs, reading the lyrics, and the fact that I know Lucie, I can really see her in this album. This is her. This is what she is all about.

So, fantastic album, make sure you'll all get it once it's released in the UK! You won't be disappointed!
