October 8, 20177 yr It’s not released until January apparently? Well noticed, it's in the subtitle :basil:
January 4, 20187 yr Not surprised that they've pushed it back. "How Long" hasn't been as big as I expected it to be and isn't really doing much in America despite being pushed to ACR already in the UK. However, "If You Leave Me Now" is a really bad song and it's so dated - not the song that he should be encouraging people to pre-order his album with! Hopefully the third single comes in mid April and sets up the album well.

January 4, 20187 yr I don’t even think How Long is even finished peaking yet in the US I mean I guess it could climb given that "Attention" took about 4 months to peak over there but it's definitely underperformed here in comparison.
January 4, 20187 yr I mean I guess it could climb given that "Attention" took about 4 months to peak over there but it's definitely underperformed here in comparison. They were both long-running hits that both peaked in the top 10 it didn’t underperform at all
January 4, 20187 yr They were both long-running hits that both peaked in the top 10 it didn’t underperform at all "Attention" was in the top 40 for 18 consecutive weeks. "How Long" managed nine before bombing 19-out - I understand that ACR played a part (as did the influx of Christmas songs in the past month) but their longevity isn't comparable. We'll see if it climbs this week but I wouldn't say it's been anywhere near as successful as "Attention" and yes it has underperformed.
January 4, 20187 yr I thought How Long would be bigger than it was so I guess it kinda did underperform but it still did well. ACR hit it at the earliest possible opportunity annoyingly, and the 19-x drop isn't unusual for ACR (it would've been much less without Christmas songs too, so it's deceiving). It did fine here and I guess there's still time in the US, he's the king of slow burners there! Also: the new song is VERY "album track", which is fine as it's just an instant grat. I hope the third single is absolutely killer anyway, not that he's let me down on the singles front yet.

We’ll see how it does in the next few weeks.
March 26, 20187 yr He has released "Changes" with James Taylor, a tribute to the students of Parkland school and other victims of gun violence: e9XbKS9xWD0 It's a nice song and tribute but I don't think he should have included it on the album.
March 26, 20187 yr Not really been a fan of anything of his from this era but 'Done For Me' is brilliant
