Posted October 13, 20177 yr As the title says, Rihanna is nominated for 2 American Music Awards: Favourite Female Artist Pop/Rock and Favourite Female Artist Soul/R&B. The award show will take place on 19 November (hoping we have a new song for her to perform by then!) and you can vote for Riri in each of the above categories on the Billboard website here. All you need is a Facebook account to log in to the voting form and you can also vote via Twitter.
October 13, 20177 yr Author Rih won Best Soul/R&B Female last year and in 2015 with Beyoncé also nominated in the same years so I'm expecting a third consecutive win there! She also won it in 2008, 2010 and 2013 and lost out to Bey in 2007, 2011 and 2012). The last time she won Best Pop/Rock was 2008 and she has been nominated three more times in 2012, 2013 and 2016 although I'm not expecting a win there as Gaga is nominated there.
October 13, 20177 yr Hoping she takes home at least one award on the night (hoping she attends too)! She'd be my #1 choice for Pop/Rock (are Alessia & Gaga considered tough competition? Rih is surely the most currently successful here) actually but I'd probably give Soul/R&B to Beyoncé. I must remember to vote in this later!!
