Wow @ all those new entries this week! My two favourites by a country mile are Noel Gallagher & Imagine Dragons :wub:

 

'Holy Mountain' (although I'm not sure how the title even relates to the song :lol:) is nothing short of a work of genius! The chorus has stayed in my head since the first time I heard it, and it's very rare for a song to do that with me. And I love that tin whistle sound too! I've always been a bit of an Oasis stan but even if I wasn't I think I'd love this :D

 

'Whatever It Takes' has been a firm favourite of mine since they released it as a grat a few months back, so I'm very happy it's getting the single treatment. I know it won't be a chart hit or anything but I can imagine (no pun intended) it being a big radio hit, even in years to come. Tied between this and 'Demons' as my favourite ID song I think!

 

'How Long' is another excellent effort from Charlie Puth, I'm pleased that he's remaining so consistent in quality with every release. I can see it easily being a Top 10 hit.

 

The P!nk/Eminem collab is pretty good, not the best thing either of them have done but it's one of those songs that will definitely grow the more you hear it, and radio will certainly eat it up. Hopefully another Top 10 for her eventually!

 

Great chart as always, even if I've tired quite quickly of 'Crybaby'. Looking forward to hearing her next single though :)

Hi! Yeah, as we near the Christmas period, there suddenly seems to be a lot of great new music coming out!

 

'Holy Mountain' is insanely catchy! It's like one big chorus; a lively, punchy song that would be out of this world on the stage. Reminds me of The Vaccines actually.

 

'Whatever It Takes' has been the first Imagine Dragons song this era to really grab me. I like 'Believer' but it took a while to properly like whilst 'Thunder' isn't really for me. I think it will be another long running hit, even if it doesn't receive a high peak. I'd say 'Demons' was my favourite too and of course 'Radioactive' is an anthem.

 

I'm liking the style of his music this era; there seems to be more attention (pun intended) to the production going by his instagram posts that show him putting the songs together. It's nice to watch someone express their love for music.

 

'Revenge' isn't the among the very best of the album but it is a fun song with lots of personality and huge ground for a classic P!nk video. I can see radio liking it too.
