62. Madonna, "Forbidden Love" (Confessions on a Dance Floor, 2005)

The Material Girl’s discography is a gold mine of pop gems that were overlooked for the single treatment, and this twinkling Confessions On A Dance Floor track is no exception. With airy vocals over a subdued disco beat, this song is practically sonic ecstasy. Fun fact: this wasn’t Madonna’s first “Forbidden Love” -- a slow jam on 1994’s Bedtime Stories has the same name. -- P.C.

Thought you'd be pleased with this! :D 'Forbidden Love' would have made a great single; it shows the deeper side to the album and another example of Price's fantastic production.

There's a really good article about Madonna's two 'Forbidden Love' songs here. Really worth a read!

The performance on the tour was also amazing !!

I'm not keen on that article at all. It's basically the same bunch of artists being used again and again (Britney, Rihanna, P!nk, Drake, Eminem, One Direction). There's not much variation at all.

Agreed! Madonna's such a good storyteller with performance and I think an official video could have been fantastic had it been a single.
