December 3, 20177 yr Dimelo Dimelo Dimelo! I did like both finalists this year tho for the second series running! But Rak-Su edged it for me. Grace is more talented imo but I'm not as keen on her music.
December 3, 20177 yr Author Thank f*** this series is over with  Edited December 3, 20177 yr by jase.
December 3, 20177 yr It's just ridiculous an act with such little talent can win a SINGING compeittion....
December 3, 20177 yr The live shows feel like such a non-event this year. I feel they got it good getting acts to perform their original songs, but I think they need to expand on the live shows again and make them more fun.
December 3, 20177 yr Cant wait for percentages tonight. Anyway, can see an announcement for Grace Davies getting a contract in a couple weeks.
December 3, 20177 yr Author Nicole needs to go. This is the first year she's irritated the f*** out of me. Louis can take his leave too. I'll never forget his "YOU ARE REAL HUMAN BEINGS!" critique. Just atrocious. All sorts need to be done to save the show but I'd be here forever
December 3, 20177 yr I actually liked the format of this series. Much better having full shows on the Saturday & Sunday rather than an hour of irrelevant crap on the Sunday. Also liked how the Lives didn't drag on forever. They definitely DO need to scrap the prize fight though, not here for that.
December 3, 20177 yr Despite all the flaws of the show this year, and the fact that I prefer and voted for Grace, I do think Rak-Su will do well, at least in comparison to all of the other winners post-James Arthur. Dimelo is relevant, bang on the latino trend and actually feels like it might be a chart hit without the show. Be interesting to see how it performs on Spotify and whether it can manage more than 2 or 3 weeks on the chart.
December 3, 20177 yr Yeah definitely need it back to how it was, but with original songs allowed as well. I mean they let Lucy Spraggan do it, if they just keep to mostly more wide themes like the love and Express Yourself ones from this year then original songs can easily fit, most good songwriters could fit their songs to wide themes like that. It just didn't feel like an event at all, it's just here and gone when they only have a few live shows. I much prefer the drama and tension of the Sunday results show even if having the whole hour for it drags a bit. Everything just felt flat for me from the judges comments to the guests a lot of the time to the results and the hideous Prize Fight thing.

Just atrocious. All sorts need to be done to save the show but I'd be here forever  The show began to die when Simon left to flag the USA series. Since then it's just been trying new things to bring viewers back, but I think it just needed to go back to basics - no stupid twists etc. That said while I liked the Saturday/Sunday format it just felt like the series was over before it even began. It does possibly seem they have found a way to get over the 'mum' vote at least.
December 3, 20177 yr Urgh, of course. They really pushed for it, and Fix Factor got it. At least now Roots won't have Paloma Faith tagged onto it!! Grace needs to go with a different company as Syco are the pits.
December 3, 20177 yr Because why not? Winners Rate 1. Leona Lewis 2. Alexandra Burke 3. Little Mix 4. Louisa Johnson -- 5. James Arthur 6. Matt Cardle 7. Rak-Su 8. Shayne Ward 9. Matt Terry -- 10. G4 Was totally team Grace but I applaud X Factor for getting a commercial winner that has a chance of a career and they had that in Grace and Rak-Su. Surely Syco will rush out albums for both of them before Easter? It'd be baffling not to!
December 3, 20177 yr Can see Grace and Rak-Su getting albums before Summer 2018. They’re both ready for it seeing as both acts write their own songs.
December 3, 20177 yr Not surprised at the winner. Did Pink sing this weekend? I thought she was meant to? If yes, was it ‘Beautiful Trauma’?
