I think he'd be a much better Master than Larry Hagman, whom I always thought pretty expressionless other than his trademark dazzing white smile.

Whats on stage are today confirming that kelly osborne will play mama morton in chicago making her the youngest supporting actress in the role ever. No-one has been confirmed for the role as yet of Billy flynn during kelly osbornes run. I guess duncan james will extend again.

I wouldnt want to see it either but I would be curious because I imagine people said the same thing about Darius being too young for billy flynn and Brenda got some flack when she started but she is now getting rave reviews in Carmen.

Yes, you're right. It's wrong to prejudge. I just feel very reluctant to pay money to see those two in those roles. Maybe in other roles but, not those ones.

I really cannot see kelly Osborne as the worldly prison warder..I can imagine Brenda - as she is very much like the character in the film version, but a kid?? how can she put any experience and world weariness in to the songs, she hardly fits the Mama.... and to boot she can't sing a note to be honest, but I suppose it is wrong to pre judge.

I'm glad D isn't down to do it in the next few months.

Now I want them to announce anyone as Billy Flynn, defi nitely NOT Darius. How about Daniel Boys? I think he could look mature enough to do it.

 

As you say, as long as it's not Darius. I may feel I had to go at least once if it were.

I wouldn't make the trip to London to see Chicago again unless Darius was in the cast.

 

I just pray that if they offer him the role again, as they have done several times, he won't accept simply because he feels guilty about the times he has been unavailable.

The album comes first at the moment - long may that remain so. Well not to long as I'd rather it were released

If Darius takes more time away from the album, I'd prefer it only be for something new, a different challenge.
