That certainly is a lot of mumbo jumbo. Wouldnt mind elvis themed hotels as long as Darius was appearing in them. I do wonder how Simon fullers 19 have time for their other acts like D when you see all that and posh and beck and the spice girls as well, there cant be anytime for anything else. The 19 management page has not been updated and although Darius states 19 management on his my space page, he is still not there and Brilliant 19 s page appears to be stagnant still showing amy winehouse who left ages ago.

No, what he has is Record label : 19 Type :major

That's it as I recall it.

He was never mentioned in any strictly 19 Management things because he wasn't one of 19 Management's artists. He broke the contract with them when he dumped SC and the PI contract.

Brilliant 19 could at least update his page. It even has Mercury's defunct website on it as the only site.

They'll do what they always do create a new official website when the album's due out and then have such a muddle behind the scenes with the admin always having to keep pressing them in vain that information either comes too late to be useful or doesn't come at all.

I wish Darius didn't feel so much loyalty for Simon Fuller.

Sorry baytree. I did look at wikipedia as well and their quote -

Darius Danesh (born 19 August 1980 in Glasgow, Scotland) is a songwriter, platinum recording artist and acclaimed West End stage actor, well-known from the British TV hit shows Popstars, and Pop Idol, the latter being the model from which American Idol was born. His first, self-penned single, "Colourblind", entered the UK singles chart at number one, and his debut album went platinum under the guidance of Grammy-winning U2 producer Steve Lillywhite. Darius has had five UK Top Ten singles and he is managed by Simon Fuller. In 2006 he ended a second successful West End run in the musical Chicago playing Billy Flynn, and 2007 saw him star as Sky Masterson in the musical Guys and Dolls.

He used to be managed day to day by Nicky and Simon just stuck his oar in occasionally, but he has never been with 19 management. AS they're both in LA maybe Simon now manages him with Nicky handling the UK stuff.
Who arranged all his media interviews, the TV interviews, G & D itself, the recording sessions in London, if it wasn't his current management?
Does he have an agent. An agent would manage everything connected to 'Chicago' and 'Guys and Dolls' if he has.
So who would sort out the stuff surrounding the next album? If there's a clash of egos, it could be even more of a debacle. That's the last thing he needs.
His agent wouldn't take part but his record company should. His management also got involved last time

When is the Spice Girls' tour? I reckon all of SF's efforts will be on that and Darius wouldn't be allowed to release for a while afterwards until SF oversees the 'campaign', for want of a better collective noun.

I definitely thought before, that hDarius was hinting at Feb -April next year as the release date and then suddenly in that recent interview it's this time next year, although he still says everything is going very well and he's really pleased.

He always says that. He may have one or two things half planned that'd put the album back a bit.

I was reading about some artist ( I've forgotten who), who's releasing his first album in 7 years.
