They had 13 top 40 singles before their split in 2000 reforming on last year's utterly pointless reality TV Show 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' They had one UK #1 single in 1999 with 'A Little Bit More'. The Go-Gos - The Go-Go's are an all-female American rock and roll group formed in 1978. They made rock history as the first all-woman band in pop music that played their own instruments and wrote their own songs to top the Billboard charts with a #1 album. They had mild success in the UK - one member however MISS BELINDA CARLISLE went on to become a very successful solo artist with the 1988 chart topper 'Heaven Is A Place On Earth' :wub: They received a lot of ?? bless them. They also did the origianl of 'Our Lips Are Sealed' the song Hilary Duff and her brat sister massacred. Cheap Busted rip off who will never amount to their success no matter how hard they try. Having scored 9 top 10 hits and some of the best chartruns of recent years :wub: {1}-8-15-29, {9}-24-52 (in dead xmas week none the less). Mc$h!te are gearing up to release another slice of $h!t this week in shape of 'Star Girl'. I can actually tolerate 'Room On The 3rd Floor' and their biggest selling single by far 2005's 'All About You' but other than that, I hope their new album bombs worse than their last one and they finally go away for good. :puke:

Thing is these boybands get worse and worse - when Boyzone departed towards the end of the 90s - Louis Dickhead Walsh already had Westlife waiting in the wings to torture is to death and I'm sure when the wings are finally snipped on the loife something even more awful will take their place. Boyzone scored 16 top 10 singles including 6 #1s, one of those being the million seller 'No Matter What'. I cab tolerate one or two Boyzone records but most of them just wash over me like a bad wave of sex. Boyzone are actually the biggest selling 'boyband' of all time in the UK singleswise. According to a top 50 published in 2004 the group placed 25th with single sales of 6,435,711 higher than Westlife and yes even Take That.

N Sync: Justin Timbercunt's old band - more successful outside of the UK only really breaking through towards the end when 'Girlfriend' a collabaration with Nelly made #2 on the UK charts in 2002. Some of their stuff is OK I guess but pretty $h!t and generic. East 17: Their duet with Gabrielle + the amazing christmas #1 of 1994 'Stay Another Day' are the highlight of what were known at the time as 'the streetwise' Take That. Busted: Busted changed the way we look at boybands, getting off their stools and getting out the guitars the trio had 8 top 3 singles between 2002-2004 selling over 2 million albums in the UK and making fans hungry for even more rock music - bring on The Killers, Kaiser Chiefs and Green Day. Alisha's Attic - Bit disappointing, they're so low. They never had a top 10 single and got loads of ?? so watch the video of their biggest hit 'I Am I Feel'. Appallingly under-rated :(
