Posted October 21, 200618 yr Blackburn v Bolton Man Utd v Liverpool Middlesbrough v Newcastle Reading v Arsenal Tottenham v West Ham Some intresting fixtures tomorrow. ^_^ From a Liverpool fans point of view tomorrow against Man Utd is a must win game, but well I think Liverpool will be lucky to get a point as Man Utd are in good form at the moment and Liverpool arent in the Premiership. :(
October 21, 200618 yr Yup, and it's the other, not-as-exciting or as bad-tempered North East derby tomorrow as well: The Boro vs The Scum I hope Boro win. Neither team have had a particularly brilliant season so far, but Boro don't deserve to be in the position they're in. 2-1 I reckon :cheer:
October 22, 200618 yr Author Liverpool's defence is dreadful. :( Its been quite and even half and both sides have had their chances and Liverpool have missed quite a few and the same for Utd but well the goal Liverpool gave away really was soft; Scholes was just stood in the middle of the defence and they let him score. :arrr:
October 22, 200618 yr Author Its torture just watching the Liverpool game. :( I mean Rio Ferdinand of all people just scored a good goal against us. Looking very likely that were gonna get beat now, and I hope it stays 2-0 as any more would be a real embarassment. :( Crouch is coming on now so hopefully he can try to get us back into the game. ^_^
October 22, 200618 yr Author Easy. Can we play you every week mate? :) You didn't out class us but you were the better team i'll admit that. Liverpool are just on real bad form at the moment and I don't think a lot of players are 100% fit still and some of them are carrying little injuries but I guess thats just football.
October 22, 200618 yr We would have beat you with every player fit and every player playing, easily. You had 1 shot, when Gerrard is meant to be the world's best midfielder? ha! When you put Crouch on i knew we had it in the bag.

When you put Crouch on i knew we had it in the bag. I dunno. When Liverpool play as a unit they play very well. Man Utd vs Liverpool games are always billed up as the most exciting thing since sliced bread but there normal very boring games were the game is won in the midfield. If we'd have a had a bit more luck and a bit more composier (sp?) in the first half then I think the result may have turned out differently. You've gotta remember though Gerrard wouldn't have been 100% bit, I mean he missed the game on wednesday with an injury and he still wouldn't have been 100% fit for the game today and on his day I don't think many people can argue that Gerrard is the best midfielder in the world. ^_^
October 22, 200618 yr As a Liverpool follower I can safely say that Liverpool are in awful nick at the moment. Today they played Carragher; Gerrard; Riise & Sissoko who are all recovering (and struggling) with injuries; whilst Alonso & Reina are hopelessly out of form; Hyppia is getting too old & becoming a liability; while Bellamy's court case is affecting his form. On the other-hand Man Utd are a team rejuvenated, with the return of Paul Scholes, Solskaer (and soon Smith) from injures last season; while Rooney & Ronaldo are playing like players who have to prove something after their respective World Cup debacles and Saha has been freed of the shackles of having to compete with Ruud "don't blame me for not scoring, blame the manager for getting rid of Beckham" Van Nisterooy. Likewise the rest of the squad, since getting rid of Roy "the young players don't care..." Keane... Still, the only consolation I have is that I bet £10 at 11-2 on Man Ure to win the Title this season.
October 22, 200618 yr I am majorly pissed off at the Blackburn result! Two ****in penalties we missed in the last three minutes! :arrr:
October 22, 200618 yr 4-0! Man Utd can only draw and Chelse struggle against this team! Stupid Blackburn. <_<
October 22, 200618 yr Midooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Great we are putting a nice run of results together now after a shaky start to the season :cheer:
October 22, 200618 yr :cheer: at the Middlesbrough score! And :o at the Man U score! I take it Liverpool didn't play very well today :(
October 22, 200618 yr Author :cheer: at the Middlesbrough score! And :o at the Man U score! I take it Liverpool didn't play very well today :( They played alright in the first half, and were a bit unlucky but yeah the less thats said about te second half the better. :(
October 22, 200618 yr They played alright in the first half, and were a bit unlucky but yeah the less thats said about te second half the better. :( A bit like Sunderland v Barnsley yesterday The first half was possibly the worst football i've ever had the misfortune to witness. We were a total embarassment... you could see the red faces on the Sunderland fans :( The second half, we came out a completely different team. We still made silly schoolboy errors, of course, but we were a lot more offensive instead of just kicking the ball anywhere and hoping for something to happen It was 2-0 to Sunderland, btw :) BTW - Does this forum have a Premiership/Championship thread?! It really needs one, imo
October 22, 200618 yr Author BTW - Does this forum have a Premiership/Championship thread?! It really needs one, imo  Nah we don't. Theres normally just weekly threads created, every weekend, so that way its easy to keep track of each week as if they were all bunged into one thread it would get pretty confusing. :D
October 22, 200618 yr Midooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Great we are putting a nice run of results together now after a shaky start to the season :cheer: We still need to score more! But getting there.... :D
October 22, 200618 yr We still need to score more! But getting there.... :D yay another Spurs fan :cheer: :yahoo: Yeah we been really unlucky with injuries :( Berbatov and King, Zokora and Lennon and Malbranque etc have been missing large chunks of the season so when everyone is fit I think the goals will come so right now I am happy with the 3 points and wins by any means ^_^
October 22, 200618 yr Nah we don't. Theres normally just weekly threads created, every weekend, so that way its easy to keep track of each week as if they were all bunged into one thread it would get pretty confusing. :D I was just thinking of something along the lines of a thread where the weekend's results and the current premiership table are posted and updated after the matches. People could also post their opinions about the games (eg- who they think played well/how the team performed on the whole/whether their manager is a useless t*** etc)... ..just an idea ;)
