Dua up to 12 already :o

I suppose Ramz will get a week or 2 at #1 after Eminem, I can see Dua Lipa getting a #1 with the BRITs effect week with IDGAF, unless Ed Sheeran drops another track from his album :(

I think Ed Sheeran would be foolish to release another single so soon after Perfect, late February at the earliest I'd say for his next single release

Unless he can get Beyoncé to come and duet with him I think he'll use the BRITs to launch a new single, I am still guessing 'New Man' featuring a popular British rapper or two (maybe Ramz will do it to capitalise on 'Barking'?)

Dua much higher than I thought.

Ed will prob have a rapper/dance producer feature with a release around the first week of March with brits promo (bit like Bloodstream with Rudimental from X)! Can't imagine it being as huge as Perfect though but will sell the album through the spring!

Eminem for no1! Hope it gets 2 weeks so it's not considered a non number 1!

I’d like to see him collaborate with Chase & Status for a rehash of the next single (a la Bloodstream) - that could work nicely!

I don't think any of his album tracks would work well as a DnB/breakbeat remix though so I can't see another Rudimental or C&S single version treatment.

Maybe we won’t as much of a gap between Perfect & the next single as I thought

Yeah I can’t see anything like that happening tbh, New Man or What Do I Know? are the most likely next single choices. New Man is already upbeat enough and would only really benefit from a grime artist featuring as has been said, and WDIK is acoustic similarly to Castle On The Hill and wouldn’t suit d&b.

Drum & bass also isn’t really on trend anymore like it was for Bloodstream

Regarding the lack of pop/female artists on Spotify top ten I just want to inform that this week on global level 7/10 songs in Spotify top ten has a female artist credited and 6 is lead/duet (Finesse being only where female artist is marked as featured).

UK Top 10 has 6 females:

3 Havana (female lead)

5 I Miss You (female vocals)

6 Never Be The Same (female lead)

8 Anywhere (female lead)

9 Finesse (female feature)

10 Seventeen (female vocals)

(and three females on the outskirts of the Top 10)

12 IDGAF (female lead)

13 This Is Me (female lead)

15 Breathe (female vocals/feature)
