It's good enough, but there isn't really anything special about this tbh production wise, just sounds like a Sigala track without the tropical element.

Wow, how unexpected! I've enjoyed all Silk City have done so far, especially 'Electricity' so hope this is in a similar vein, if true.

Mark Ronson revealed on his GQ Australia interview that there could be a possible collaboration between Silk City and Troye Sivan.

From GQ Australia:

"I've worked with Kevin Parker for some time now," says Ronson, clearly fond of Australia and its artists. "Troye Sivan is definitely somebody I'm friends with and we might be doing something else with Silk City [Ronson and Diplo's joint venture], or maybe his next record. I dig Mallrat too, and I met Amy Shark when I was over – we might get together when she's in LA."

Diplo teased that there's an upcoming collaboration with Dua (for his side project Silk City alongside Mark Ronson) on his interview to Billboard.

You and Mark Ronson teamed up [as Silk City] with Dua Lipa for "Electricity," the Grammy-winning project. Did you happen to work at all on her new album Future Nostalgia? Or have you gotten with her for any of your upcoming things?

We actually did some writing demos for that album. But we have something new that might be another Silk City record. We're playing with that. It's really about her project, so I think that's going to come out first, and then see what hits. But I love collaborating with her. The first record I did with her was with Major Lazer. It was called "My Love," with WizKid, which was way ahead of his time. It was a like a Dua Lipa Afrobeat pop record that honestly was like before she even had her big hit ["New Rules"]. It was right around [Drake's] "One Dance," so it made sense for England and London, but it was actually a huge record for us for a little while. We played it at Glastonbury with her, but... it was, like, way too early for that record. It's still a really awesome sounding record and sounds new to me.

I know I said I didn't like 'Electricity' much on here further up this page, but it certainly was a grower for me, so a sequel would be something I would look forward to.
Electricity is one of the best dance songs of the last 10 years for me.

So an early demo version of Electricity leaked called Baptize and with Florence on vocals and completely different lyrics!!!!!

agree great vocals bad lyrics, guess thats why they threw the lyrics to the garbage :)
I forgot how good Florence sounded over dance tracks! I think I prefer Electricity just because of how much more familiar I am with it but Florence would've sounded great on the final version also and now I really want a Mark Ronson collab from her!

"New Love" is the title of their new single and it's a collaboration with Ellie Goulding, which is expected to be released soon.

FYI, the tweet above is from some time ago, but the title is on Shazam, which you could check it here.

They seem to have completely went off the radar since 'Electricity', that was over two years ago!

I adored both that and 'Feel About You' and was hoping for more. Hopefully the Ellie collab will pick up where those two left off

Does anyone know where I can hear Baptize? I missed it and I’m morbidly curious. Or even find the lyrics
