Raking up every single vote :') and 100%, it's a unanimous elimination for 'Words'. Although it has gone in quite embarrasing fashion it's done very well to only just miss the top 5. A disco infused stomper, 'Words' is a brilliantly vibrant, energetic exploration of the power of a voice. It's fun which a punchy beat and even punchier lyrics.

I find this song very overrated by M fans. It just scrapped into the top 10 and imo didn't deserve to be the third single. It does have a good video tho but again i do not find it lone of her best like many do.

I do love the intro to 'Words' and how you're led to think the song is going one way and suddenly this alarm of a synthline starts blaring out. Lyrically, it's like a more commercial-sounding and easier to follow precursor to 'Bedtime Story'. However, I'd have had it out before 'Where Life Begins' and 'Waiting'.

 

Went for 'Rain' this time. :ph34r: I was expecting to go for 'Thief of Hearts' but it's been one that's stood out to me over the course of the past few months. I suspect 'Rain' will nonetheless make it to the final with 'Deeper and Deeper'.
