Posted January 9, 20187 yr 1EC8lBwroOc The Black Eyed Peas have returned with their first single since 2016's remix of "Where Is the Love" and the first since Fergie departed the group in 2017. The song is a return to their pre-'The E.N.D.' sound, featuring elements of jazz and hip hop. The lyrics are very political and actually remind me of the message of "Where Is the Love"! Anyway, I'm pleased to see them back - the track isn't the most instant but I can imagine it will grow on me. Hopefully their first album since 2010 will surface this year too!
January 9, 20187 yr I guess the new album will be called "Masters of the Sun" based on the outro unless I'm missing something. Also I LOVE THIS  They do sound a bit different without Fergie after all these years but I still really like this after first listen. It's very 'Where Is The Love', it also reminded me a bit of Jay Z's latest album although I'm sure there's better comparisons
January 10, 20187 yr Need to give this a listen; it's available to stream and purchase on Apple Music/iTunes - has it been for long because it isn't in the top 100?
January 10, 20187 yr Fergie made the Black Eyed Peas what they were. Good luck to them without her I guess but I'm not holding my breath.
January 10, 20187 yr Author Is Will.i.am involved? Yes. Need to give this a listen; it's available to stream and purchase on Apple Music/iTunes - has it been for long because it isn't in the top 100? It was released at some point on Tuesday morning - the OCC posted an article at 10:48am which brought it to my attention.
January 12, 20187 yr Yeh no real interest it seems, most chart fans these days will only know Will. The group will have passed them by a bit I suspect - need some promo!
