Posted October 23, 200618 yr The Arctic Monkeys have revealed their plans to write a book telling the story of their journey to fame. The four-piece indie rock band, whose debut album Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not became the fastest selling in UK chart history, decided to write a book after hearing of an unofficial biography already released. According to The Sun the band were upset that the book was written about them without consultation. A source reportedly remarked "They didn't even know the guy who wrote it and were annoyed he was cashing in on their story." The autobiography should be in bookshops by Christmas Source: DigitalSpy I have the unoffical one and its pretty c**p to be honest. :( I'm looking forward to this though. ^_^ but yeah I just think there a little bit young to be writing an autobiography, but then again every Tom, Dick and Harry seems to be writing one at the moment.
October 23, 200618 yr It would be a good read to hear the story in Arctic Monkeys own words, I think it would sell very well aswell. :D
