Posted October 23, 200618 yr In 2004, "Boadicea" was once again used on a sample of a song, this time Mario Winan's "I Don't Wanna Know" and later on the Pirates' "You Should Really Know". Once again, no approval was asked from Enya to use the sample. However, Winans based the song on the Fugees 1996 hit and was unaware the song had actually included "Boadicea". However, when he discovered this, he creditted Enya on the title and the song subsequently became "Mario Winans featuring Enya & P. Diddy - I Don't Wanna Know". What are people's thoughts on this song and the situation? [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frvg9hfJYBo.swf
October 23, 200618 yr Surprised he didnt originally credit the Fugees, but yea, he did the right thing to credit Enya. Boadicea is a great track, I'm a little surprised it didn't get recognition in it's own right.
October 26, 200618 yr Author It sounded hilarious when it was announced on the radio or anything: Mario Winans featuring P Diddy and Enya. When you hear the first parts you expect the last artist to be another one of their kind but then to hear Enya features on the track is quite good. ^_^
