October 25, 200618 yr I've heard really mixed reactions about this song, I haven't personally heard it myself yet, but well done to Gwen for going out there and trying to be diverse, again. B)
October 27, 200618 yr Oh dear, this is just awful. I realise people will applaud her for trying "something new" and saying it's just a grower, etc., but it you listen any song enough it'll grow somewhat on you. The truth is, it's just a complete mess and it's a sad state when the sample is the only remotely redeeming feature, purely due to its comedic value. I shall buy the album, but I hope it's a hell of a lot better :(
October 28, 200618 yr I liked the HQ version on the first listen. :D It's got a good beat to it, I can imagine it doing well in the clubs and stuff. I'm not sure if it'll do very well as a lead single, it's quite different and sounds a lot like M.I.A. But perhaps this could infact pave the way for M.I.A.'s success when she returns...
October 29, 200618 yr can someone send it to me :) for some reason it wont let me send it through PM, and i dont have yousendit etc.
October 29, 200618 yr Author 864 spins already on pop :o I reckon this will stall though before it reaches the top 10, probably have a smilar run to Deja Vu.
October 29, 200618 yr :cheer: its doing well on american airplay already. Great News! :cheer: Looks like another Hit for Gwen then ^_^

October 30, 200618 yr Author :( So far I've seen a few similarities between Gwen and Beyonce's return. Deja Vu debuted and a lot of people were disappointed. To counter this there was a lot of talk about how Deja Vu was just the "warm up" single and Ring The Alarm is the main single. This is exactly the same as the talk about Wind It Up and Sweet Escape.

Well, Beyonce, released her singles, the wrong way around! But i think Alot if people will like Wind It Up!
October 30, 200618 yr Author I think Wind It Up is too out there for the general public to give it a chance. I don't think it'll get played in clubs either. :(

I don't think it'll get played in clubs either. :( Hmmm i get your point, i dont think this appeals to the public, as half as much as What You Waiting For did -_- But i still hope it has success
October 30, 200618 yr Author But i still hope it has success  Definately. I'm sure this'll go top 10 in the UK anyway. Gwen's big enough to send this top 10 on name alone - same in America.
October 31, 200618 yr +1064 Too soon to predict how this will fair, hype has pushed it thus far. If one thing I've learnt its that European tastes don't neccessarily reflect American tastes and vice-versa. Hype is pushing this for a moment. Will be interesting to see if this can continue to gain. Its impossible to predict at the moment though.
