March 15, 20187 yr I’m really finding this distinctly average. There’s just nothing special about it. Asymptomatic of the current 'pop' scene. Edited March 15, 20187 yr by Midge
March 15, 20187 yr I like it, but there is something a bit cold about it - I even eventually felt the same with 'Ciao Adios'. Like it ticks all the boxes, but I find something about it fairly calculated if that makes sense? 'Alarm' will always be my favourite by her I think - and then I really liked 'Peak' and 'Then'.
March 15, 20187 yr I felt the same about "Ciao Adios" as well, Jack. Maybe it’s because both tracks share that whole "f u" attitude towards another party that makes her come across as arrogant. Meghan Trainor-esque!

Like it ticks all the boxes, but I find something about it fairly calculated if that makes sense? That's exactly what I feel about this! Something about it feels like the most cold, cynical attempt to get a hit imaginable.
March 15, 20187 yr I'm the complete opposite, I still can't get enough of this, one of the best songs of the year imo! Cannot wait to hear it live a week today.

March 17, 20187 yr I’m really finding this distinctly average. There’s just nothing special about it. Asymptomatic of the current 'pop' scene. Agreed tbh
March 17, 20187 yr This has done a full 360 now and gone off me again after I enjoyed it for a few weeks. Not liking the prospect of this being a huge hit and potential #1.
March 18, 20187 yr I'm liking this a lot more than I expected to. I find Anne-Marie and Marshmello both incredibly hit and miss but this has quite a hooky chorus/post-chorus, and sonically it actually reminds me in parts of Spice era Spice Girls.
