As ever this is based on my personal chart, so late 2017 hits are affected by not being as high here as they would if it was on personal opinion etc.

Uh Huh was another great song from Julia but I went off it quicker than I expected. However it is still her joint highest peaking song in my charts (along with Heaven) and she has another song to come in this EOY that peaked lower in my weekly charts!

Whatever It Takes is the best thing Imagine Dragons have done since their first era & it should've been an official smash hit, despite its low peak it returned ID to my charts for the first time since Not Today & had a very long chart run

In The Morning had a very long chart run and is another song that deserved to be a massive hit, easily one of the best dance songs of 2017 and I always bop to this so much whenever I hear it. This was in my top 30 most played songs of the year on spotify as well!

Switch was another bop from Iggy and I get my life to this whenever I hear it, anyway this returned Iggy to the top 5 for the first time since Team after the awful Mo Bounce flopped in my charts

Santa's Coming For Us is a future Christmas staple for me and its such a bop, I'm glad this made the top 40 officially and this spent a few weeks at #3 in my chart during the Christmas period. Ho Ho Ho peaked higher in my charts [#2] but failed to make my top 100 here!

My Church is probably the lowest peaking song in my top 100 but its chart-run was insane and went on forever. The only reason this didn't chart higher was because 80's Mercedes & Craving You were impacting at the same time! this is such an amazing song and this is the first of six appearances for Maren in this years top 100!

Carry You Home is another country bop and gave Ward Thomas their 2nd top 3 hit at the end of 2016. This held on well throughout 2017 and is my favourite song by them

Apollo I think is the only Eurovision song to make my top 100 this year, oops, it wasn't the strongest year for Eurovision. Anyway this is a fantastic power-ballad that unfortunately crashed out during the semi's </3

Down By The Water is fabulous in both its acoustic and original form and I love some Amy MacDonald so it was fab to see her finally return this year. This was my favourite from the era and once again had a very long running chart run despite missing my top 10!

Million Reasons ends this section as it continued to sell well throughout 2017 after spending 12 weeks top 10 between 2016/2017! This is such a gorgeous ballad & Gaga always slays this live <3

Whatever It Takes :wub: It’s a shame this hasn’t taken off in the UK, although I guess Imagine Dragons aren’t really that big in the UK anymore :(

 

Sia really gave us a handful of future Christmas classics didn’t she *.* Santa’s Coming For Us is such a bop

Ten top ten hits already *.*

 

God Bless America is the 1st of many appearances from Queen Lana and gave her another top ten hit in my charts. The lyrics are fabulous & I love her vocals, a beautiful & standout moment from the album <3

Someone In The Crowd is also the 1st of a few songs from the La La Land soundtrack here and is a highlight from the film. The playful nature of the song, all the production changes and everything makes this a fabulous anthem <3

Scared of the Dark is definitely one of the most unexpected hits for me this year as I've never been the biggest Steps fan but this is pop heaven and held on for a very long time after its release week!

Woman was another bop Kesha served and gave her a top 3 hit (a top 3 that also included Praying). I love this and its so fun & the instrumental is great, this probably would have been a bigger hit here had it not been released so close to Praying which was decimating everything else in my chart.

After the Afterparty is such a bop and is possibly my favourite Charli song yet and continued to chart way into 2017 after its late 2016 debut.

Beauty & The Beast is a fab cover of a classic and Ariana's vocals really elevate the song which scored a #2 peak after watching the movie!

Came Here For Love is a summer anthem and it grew on me pretty quickly to sneak a #10 peak (which coincidentally is where Sigala's follow-up Lullaby peaked so far!). Ella's vocals are fab and gave Sigala his 1st top 10 I think (:o his first 3 singles were all long runners) and Ella another top 10 after literally her entire 1st era hit my top 10!

No Promises is a bop and I think it's the lowest of the Demi dance collabs here though. I kind of went off this but its still a good song and gave Demi another top 10 hit and CC their first.

Breathe was the bop I'd been waiting for from Astrid S for a while as I'd never been able to get into her previous material. Once again the lyrics, vocals & production slay and this gave Astrid her first top 10 hit!

I Did Something Bad ends this section and is a massive highlight from Reputation. The lyrics are fab and the production is KILLER and goes completely off *.* An anthem and another top 3 this era for Taylor here!
