Hello my dance and fellow peeps. Been a long time since I blogged. I've been so busssssy! First off I want to say to all my friends who have left comments, questions, and those who left a voice message for me. Thank you so much for taking the time out to post on my myspace page. I try my hardest to respond to every dance question, but sometimes I may not get to you until days or weeks later. But I try and answer as many questions as I can.

 

For those who don't know, I booked Christina Aguilera Back to Basics World Tour and I couldn't be happier. I prayed so long and hard for this and the lord blessed me once again for the once in lifetime opportunity. It was my dream to finally book a International and US WORLD TOUR with a top recording artist. Also I am blessed to be working with for the first time in my dance career Artistic Director Jamie King. Jamie King has worked with EVERYBODY including Madonna and he is the Artistic Director of this Tour.. This whole experience I will never forget as a dancer. For any aspiring dancers, who want to pursue a dance career, booking this type of world tour can be a surreal feeling.

 

I have been rehearsing for the past month with 12 hour days not only learning 12 different dances, but learning Circus Stunts with FIRE!! Yes, I said Fire!! Christina's Back to Basics tour will be OFF THE CHAIN!! She has decided that the theme of her Back to Basics tour would center around the circus, so all of the dancers have stunts they are doing that's affiliated with the circus. I will be twirling fire. I had to get over my fear of learning it from the trainer, but once I got past my fear, I love doing it! I can now add FIRE TWIRLER on my resume.. I can't wait to actually do it on stage for the fans. For those that do go to her concert, you will be in for a treat because you will feel like you are at the circus.

 

The European tour starts on November 17th and runs thru December 17th. The US tour starts in 2007. We also are supposed to be performing with Christina on SNL on November 11th.

Well, sometimes they do, but I highly doubt 12 songs. Maybe won't be dancers on every song.

Woah! Can't wait to see the DVD for this, the fire will be dangerous but fun :D

I hope there's no dancers for Hurt :(! That should be one done in the dark with a spotlight while she's sitting on some perch :P

I hope she doesnt remix any of the songs of stripped prefer to just hear them as they are.

Same, I didn't like it when she remixed Genie In A Bottle on the Stripped Tour, it sounded $h!t :(
