Listened to most of it on my way to work, only ‘All For You’ really stood out on first listen. Most of it felt like an early-mid 2000s Male Solo basic bitch album.

Got my earphones at lunch so have listened to the album.... its good!

Need to listen to it a few more times but overall is a decent album; looking forward to seeing them live (again) in a few months

well when you ditch your band mates are go for the likes of steve mac/greg kurstin to produce your album those will be the results!

I dunno... I can see why it has appeal to some people, it's just not as much to my tastes as their debut was.

I'll stick with it for a couple of plays though - you never know...

It's interesting to see the mixed reviews here, as the critics have all been really positive.

I really liked it, I prefer it over their debut and there are some exceptional tracks which stand out.

One listenthrough later I'm pleasantly surprised! Communion took some time to grow but this was a good interesting listen off the bat! Rendezvous, Preacher and Howl were the three tracks that stood out for me which I hadn't heard before - and Palo Santo sounds a lot better within the context of the album, although I do think it should've been the album closer imo.
It is growing after a few more listens, I'm particularly finding Sanctify, Hallelujah, All For You, Karma, Up In Flames, Preacher and Palo Santo to be good now.

Re-listening to this at the moment and the only mis-fire (for me) is Lucky Escape. But I think that's just because its slow and there isn't a great hook.

Otherwise this is a strong album and a great follow up to Communion.

Just hearing IYOM for the first time and it reminds me of 'Sit Still, Look Pretty' but it's REALLY good.
I think their new album don't really have any strong hits like the first one. Not as much strong hooks and melodies as I had hope for. But well, still like them thou :D
Sanctify is the worst track on the album. Not sure what they were thinkin there.

I had a listen to the album yesterday and felt the opposite...! Best track on the album for me on first listen. The album is okay I guess. It’s like they had all these levels on "Communion" and now it’s all flat and one dimensional.

I think the title track has emerged as my favourite out of the 4 released tracks (I still haven't listened to the full album, but I'm eager to do it over the coming days). It's so beautiful.
