Posted October 24, 200618 yr Pete Doherty in paparazzi fight Following Babyshambles gig in Rome Pete Doherty has been involved in a bloody fight with an Italian paparazzi photographer. The incident reportedly took place after Babyshambles' gig at the Piper Club in the Italian capital on Monday (October 23). Doherty was left covered in blood after coming to blows with the unidentified snapper outside his hotel. According to The Evening Standard, the singer allegedly jumped on the photographer and punched him several times before the two were dragged apart. One witness said Doherty's head was "dripping with blood" and that band members had grabbed metal ashtrays to use as weapons in the brawl. Police were not called, but the photographer was said to have gone to hospital.
October 24, 200618 yr Author Personally I think nowadays Pete Doherty is more known for all the controversial (although not so controversial now-a-days as it can be expected from him after all the press coverage surrounding him in the past) rather than the quality of his music which is a shame because he's a talented musician when he sets his mind to it. Either way from the sounds of things I don't know whether Pete or the photographer came off worse, either way it must get quite stressful having the paparazzi following you everywhere but what do you expect if you're Pete Doherty or any other celebrity as a matter of fact.

I kinda get the impression the only reason why he decided to give this Paparazzi a good kicking is because he hadn't been in the papers for a while and he needs a bit of publicity.... Does he have a single coming out soon...???
