I love Halloween, I have only seen it in full once, when i was a wee nipper, then i saw it a couple of years ago, but only at the end. I find it very scary, could never watch the mini clips of it on the 100 greatest scary moments
I watched Resurection last night, it was really good, i liked the way the camera's were placed around the house and on the people so it was like when michael killed them he left them in places which were good for the people watching the show to tell Sara where he was, and i was actually frightened at some points

Season of the Witch is such a great film  I love how it has absolutely no relation to the other films whatsoever.

Halloween is absolutely great though - it always scares me. The best bit is when Michael puts the sheet over himself and then the glasses on top - proper freaky!!!

Haven't seen all the sequels. I saw one once where it started with a girl and a baby running from Michael and somehow she ended up impaled on a combine harvester :)

I thought it was pretty idiotic myself.. And the whole bit at the beginning where Laurie supposedly killed an ambulance driver instead of Michael, come ON!!!... If you actually look at "H2O" there is actually no real way that that could've actually occurred in the film's continuity... It's a pretty lame-ass excuse for just dredging old Mikey up again for another cash-cow... And such an unforgiveably cheap way to kill off one of the most important characters in the whole cycle - ie Laurie. What, and just replace her with a bunch of disposable teens who looked like rejects from a "Scream" sequel???? Garbage.... <_<

And Busta Rhymes just totally irritated the fukk out of me as well.... Some rappers can act (Ice T, Ice Cube..), he sure aint one of them unfortunately....

That whole idea of web-cams, "Reality TV" and the internet in a horror film was done a HELL of a lot better and far more convincingly in Marc Evans' underrated and superb "My Little Eye"....

Just how many times did Mr Rhymes say "Mother ****er" throughout the film

My Little Eye was brilliant :o , really creepy and quite a cult-ish film. Resurrection was ok, but mainly because it's a classic series and you know what you're getting ^_^

That's what I thought. It doesn't sound very convincing to me.

Too often... <_< , it's very lazy scripting. "Oooh, there's a rapper in the film, let's get him to say 'motherfukker' continually for no real explicable reason...". Either that or it was a case of "Hey, we've seen "Pulp Fiction" so let's just have the black guy be like Jules and swear a lot..." Either way, it's pathetic, stupid, lazy writing...

And true, you may know what you're getting as you say, but as the saying goes "familiarity breeds contempt". "H2O" certainly had its flaws, but did things a bit differently, which kinda pulled above the heads of most of the other sequels....

I watched ressurection last night (It's the only one I've seen from the series)
Taped it last night but haven't watched it yet, never seen it before. The first is still the best.
I have Halloween 1 on DVD and it's rubbish, so dissapointing. I really don't have a clue why it's rated so highly. Rubbish story line and it's not scary at all.
