Curiously, they did the opposite on Australian Spotify - released the single on Friday at midnight, and (as far as I noticed) only put out the 17-track album a couple days later.

well if you look on Spotify this morning in UK.

 

there is the 'single' version with Gente and Kylie in red dress, the album version with Golden page and then the gente version on Gente De Zona page with the purple single cover of the original....... LOL. Such a mess.

 

all this to sell 219 streaming album.......

 

am sure if the standalone single version with kylie in red dress next to car as the cover on Friday was released on Spotify then she would have got higher in New Music Friday etc.

 

A banner of this would now help to build up streams.

it didn't do much for album streams and kind of got lost. I couldn't find it until someone told me it was number 17.... looked like Kylie and BMG not bothered and so got a very low 59th on New Music Friday despite quite a bit of media hype etc.
