Posted October 25, 200618 yr http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30GNC83J_mA it was always a strange and ultimately bad choice... but I didn't think it'd be THIS bad... surely the worst ever Bond theme? Goldfrapp were robbed, for sure....

October 25, 200618 yr Oh dear.... I used to really like Cornell/Soundgarden back in the day, but WTF HAS HAPPENED TO HIS VOICE????? :o :o :o He used to be a great Hard Rock vocalist, now he just sounds tired and knackered and like he just cant be bothered anymore... Surely Evanescence would've been a better choice for this (if it really had to be a rocky sort of song for this film....), at least they have a flair for the dramatic, and Amy Lee can at least bloody sing properly..... But overall, I would've gone for Goldfrapp in a New York minute..... The song itself is very poor, it starts off like some sort of low-rent "Live and Let Die" and just gets worse as soon as Cornell starts wailing..... Awful, one of the worst Bond themes ever....

Whether it should've been decanted to the Metal/Punk Forum I would question, 'Music - Culture' seems more appropriate to me personally....
