Dan Stephens & Alana Watson from Nero have announced news of their new side project The Night which has been signed to Monstercat. They started the project 2 years ago and are now preparing to unleash the music onto our ears.

 

Their music is described as 'a bit '80s synthpop, a sensual touch of soulful R&B, a dash of deep house, and a whole lot of funky freshness.'

 

'Different Story' is a 4 track EP due for release in late Spring and can be pre-saved here.

Set Me Free has leaked online. It’s a bit of a banger, not sure if it’s out tomorrow though.

It's out in Australia. Kind of sounds like a synthwave/future bass 'Two Minds'? I'm not really convinced this sound plays to their strengths, but I like Alana's vocals on it.
