It’s even worse when it happens close to home. I’m from Telford, where one of the incidents has been going on and it sickens me beyond belief

Makes you wonder where else it might be happening that hasn't been discovered yet.

By the Grace of God, here in Pak, Not doing it now. But whenever I listen to that type of news I gets sad for a while.
A lengthy BBC article on Child Sexual Exploitation :

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-43400336

******************************

Disappointingly (thought not surprisingly, giving their political position), they refuse to address the reasons PC lets it thrive.

Because of course child exploitation, sexual and otherwise was invented by the PC brigade and doesnt exist anywhere else in history, in the UK, the world and under any other regime. Totally the fault of people who believe in equality and justice for children.

Provide evidence or shut up making blatantly offensive comments. In most cases its the fault of the police taking no action and using PC as an excuse. The rest of the time, they are protecting the culprits for other reasons. It's against the law. End of.

I posted that article nearly 4 months ago!

And perhaps you could explain how the article offended you, when it wasn't even directed at you?

Better late than never.

It was directed at anyone who is that nasty dirty word "PC" as if they are to blame for paedophiles. Given one of your favourite arguments is that people who own guns aren't criminals, it's only those that USE guns that are to blame and guilty of a crime, you are on very shaky ground making those sort of offensive allegations. I am politically correct, in the sense that I believe in equality and the freedom to be who you want to be, but that doesn't mean I in any way agree with paedophiles or that shifty cops not doing their job trying to blame PC viewpoints means I am in any way to blame.

Clear?

Fair point - I apologize for giving the impression that I equate PC with paedophiles, even though that was never my intention.

What I meant to say is that IMO political correctness leads to giving minorities a greater benefit of doubt than would apply to majority groups, partly due to unwillingness to be seen as targeting them for special investigation. However, the public lose confidence in the justice system if they perceive that some groups are given special treatment.

Given the racial percentages in the general prison population that stereotype based on one useless Police force in one town doesn't stand up to scrutiny. You are cherry picking news items to support your own bias. The reality is that racism in cases of justice is very much a thing and always has been.

Now show evidence of a study that shows there is a bias towards any minority group that doesn't include the town of Rotherham and one particular police force and council that have used PC as an excuse to avoid looking shit at their jobs.

Firstly, Don't I at least get an acknowledgement of that apology?

Secondly, do you *really* want to get into the minefield of the racial breakdown of prison population?

Yes, sorry about that, that was rude of me.
