Found this review of Snow ((Hey Oh)) on digitalspy, and I thought it summed the song up perfectly. It also got 5/5 for the track rating. :D

 

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have returned to form with latest single 'Snow'. Gorgeous strumming on the guitars, with lead singer Anthony Kiedis' vocals turned down to 'soft' level, enabling the entire band to have a look in for the opening part of this funky song.

 

Kiedis has got a great voice, and really seems to connect with the music, his voice jerking in tandem with the drowsy, twanging guitars - slightly throaty and ever so captivating. Beautifully produced and well put together, 'Snow' is a cleverly-lyricised, fun track that you can listen to over and over without getting bored - and that's what the Chilis do at their best.

 

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are going to be around for a very, very long time to come, and this latest release certainly explains exactly why.

DOWN 5 PLACES TO NUMBER #21 THIS WEEK which is quite good

 

Yeah it is quite good. ^_^ I was expecting a bigger fall in all honesty, as tracks like this normally do take a big tumble down the charts. :( Should jopefully be in the top 40 for another few weeks though. :D

Yeah I thought the album might have been a little higher as well. :unsure: Its not in the Top 75, but then again it is a competetive time for sales and album sales are pretty high this time of year with all the new relases about.

YA THERE ARE LOADS OF BIG NAMES ALBUMS JUST OUT SO CHILLI HAVE IN SOME WAY GOT LOAST AMONG THEM ALL

 

Yeah thats one option. The other may be that some people might find the price a bit off putting. I mean its about £15 and if people hear Snow on the radio, and then go out to buy the album they will probably be thinking its around the £10 mark so there a bit dissapointed when they find out its more expensive. :lol:

anyone here heard the B-side to Snow? it's called I'll Be Your Domino, and is actually quite good! better than a lot of the album tracks on SA.

I think I might go and buy the single though in a couple of weeks time, when I go to buy Razorlights and James Morrisons new singles as well. ^_^

#31 in the uk this week and the album is #53

 

Hopefully it will be in the Top 40 for another week still, and possibly even two. :cheer:

THE ALBUM IS 6 PLACES higher than keanes album so if they keep aheda they may take over a place in the top 10 best sellers
