Awful dialogue, paper thin plot, cheesy as hell, dodgy autotune. But I loved every minute!

That seems to be the general consensus online :P

I’m still absolutely dead, the film killed me off last night. I feel like I could go get a boat right now to Greece and my life will just sort itself out.

There was zero workable plot, it was laughable, they reused too many songs and found no space for an Under Attack (come on, do it during the storm), and that's my only actual criticism, as it was just kind of hilarious and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I say there's zero plot but they did very well at working some of the clear omissions from the first movie into the plot, One Of Us was put in perfectly and Fernando was a rather satisfying 'oh of f***ing course' moment.

The Day Before You Came is a gloriously beautiful track, it gives me chills. Meryl's voice is so heavenly!

Absolutely adored this, every second was so much fun and I wanna see it over and over again 💗💗 the cast slayed and I've had the soundtrack on repeat all day *.* (When I Kissed The Teacher, Waterloo, Mamma Mia, Angel Eyes & Super Trouper>>>>>)

cheesy, but fun. Loved the use of lesser known Abba tracks, far and away they came over more effectively than the ones we all know, bar Fernando which is a moment for an icon to shine, even with the heavy soft focus and facelifts. Lily James was great. Kisses Of Fire was thrown away though - should've been the anthem it always deserved to be (and was, it was way better than the A Side).

6/10
