The Weeknd has teased his first single from his upcoming album, which might drop as soon as this Friday!

I'm hyped for this, especially following his excellent Kendrick collab for Black Panther.

Intriguing. Not quite even a year and a half since "Starboy" premiered is it. I guess it's good to keep capitalising on your popularity - to be fair it must be about the same gap from when "Can't Feel My Face" got popular and "Starboy".

'Pray For Me' got old quickly, but the last album was great and had so many highlights! Considering all the festivals he is headlining this summer it makes sense to put some new material out.

Interested to hear where he goes next, always struck me as an artist prepared to innovate.

Wasn't too keen on 'Pray For Me' but I'm sure he has something much better lined up for his actual lead single. If 'The Hills' (not technically the lead but I'll count it as one) and 'Starboy' are anything to go by this should be great.
i'm hoping he's going to go back to a more Trilogy-esque style (another House Of Balloons/GTG or Rolling Stone would be nice) but it's probably not going to happen :(

I think it's a full length album not just an EP!

As most of you have seen, the previous link has been removed, but the one below is the one directly to iTunes. It should work at midnight US time and the 'us' word should be replaced with 'gb'.

As you could see, it says EP next to the title, so that's the reason why I said EP instead of album, despite it contradicts the billboard posted. However, there are rumours that this could lead into an album and it's just a teaser.

Out now. The tracklisting is:

1. "Call Out My Name"

2. "Try Me"

3. "Wasted Times"

4. "I Was Never There"

5. "Hurt You"

6. "Privilege"

"I Was Never There" and "Hurt" feature Gesaffelstein.

They couldn’t have released it an hour ago when I could’ve saved it offline on Spotify before I went out?

very boring and same-y, lacking all oomph

+ i hate those 6 tracks EPs

never remember if they can chart in the albums chart or not

Call Out My Name is definitely the highlight! I enjoy it as a whole, there's clearly a lot of influence from his earlier work but slightly progressed too.
